Description

Ride the FTR any distance and two things wear you down. The wind lands square on your chest, and everything you need to look at is somewhere below the line you should be watching.

This fixes both, and it does it without cutting anything on the bike.

The fairing is hand laid carbon over a fiberglass core, clear coated so the weave is what you see, and it wraps around the stock headlight. It takes the wind off your chest and puts the weather in front of you instead of on you.

Behind it the tower carries your navigation high, in your line of sight, with the gauge moved further forward again than the relocator alone manages. Your eyes stay on the road. The nav sits up where a glance reaches it, and the gauge is where you can read it without dropping your chin.

There is a 12mm accessory bar across the front for whatever else you mount, and a small tray underneath for the quick access items you want to reach during the ride.

It uses your existing headlight. The harness extension is in the box, so the light moves forward with the tower and plugs back in. Nothing is spliced and nothing is cut. A custom CNC machined head tube clamp keeps the whole assembly stable.

The clamps are CNC machined, the finish is black powder coat, and the hardware is stainless throughout.

The system

The other six parts.

Each one works on its own. They were drawn together, so they share mounting points instead of fighting for them.

The complete FTR ADV Kit

Seven parts drawn as one system, so nothing fights anything else for a mounting point. Every fastener counted into one order.

The illustration of this part

This tower was a sketch long before it was a bracket.

It started as a question about where a rider's eyes go on a long day. The answer went through a sketchbook and a Fusion model before it was cut. The tee is the finished part drawn back out the way a 1980s shop manual would have shown it, with the callouts and part numbers left in.
