Indian FTR 1200 café racer concept with a half fairing, cropped to the fairing and tank

What's next

Three more bikes are on the bench.

The FTR kit is the first thing I finished. These are the next ones, in the order I expect to build them.

Sketching · Indian FTR 1200

The FTR café fairing

The other thing the FTR was always going to be. A half fairing for a bike with a trellis frame and a big twin, drawn the way an Italian café bike would have worn it in 1975. It comes off the same sketchbook as the adventure kit, and it will bolt to the same head tube.

Honda XL750 Transalp concept wearing the Roan Cowl in Africa Twin rally livery

In development · Honda XL750 Transalp, Yamaha Ténéré 700

The Roan Cowl. One rally face for two bikes.

A carbon headlamp cowl in the shape of the 1980s Acerbis Elba, with rally lighting behind it and a CNC machined head tube clamp cut for each bike. The Transalp gets the Africa Twin livery it descends from. The Ténéré gets the same cowl on its own clamp.

BMW R 12 G/S concept with a Paris-Dakar style half fairing, cropped to the fairing

Still sketching · BMW R 12 G/S

The 1989 Paris-Dakar face, in carbon

BMW built the R 12 G/S to remember the R100GS and stopped at the tank. The half fairing with the round light and the tall screen is the part everyone remembers, and nobody makes it. This is the hardest one on the list and the one I most want to build.

The list

Tell me which bike, and I will tell you when.

One email when a bike has a launch date and a first-run price. Nothing else.
