Town Mountain Road climbs out of Asheville toward the Blue Ridge Parkway through a set of switchbacks that would pass for a Japanese touge, so I drew it as one. The map is the real road, with the knobs and gaps along it labeled at their true elevations, from Beaucatcher at 2,687 feet to Peach Knob at 3,723.
The car is a Maxima with a VQ35 build, 325 horsepower in 2,950 pounds, two years and nine months in the making, running the road at night the way it deserves.
